BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 350-300 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.71 g, 7 h). Eagle with spread wings standing left on olive branch. Rev. KP[O] - Δ Tripod with three handles, ornamental volutes below the bowl and legs ending in lion's paws. HN Italy 2172. SNG ANS 364. A pleasant coin, beautifully toned. The reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
